School uniform

Uniform

Pupils are encouraged to wear school uniform.Our Lady’s school tie** (BE Schoolwear: https://www.border-embroideries.co.uk/store-dundee/) and badge are in our school colours (royal blue/gold), and other items are as shown. Prices for these items vary and parents are advised to compare schoolwear retailers.

Black skirt / black trousers, white blouse/shirt and school tie. Blazers are optional.

A school sweatshirt, cardigan, hoodie or v-neck (royal blue with gold crest) is worn, and for the summer months a school polo-shirt (white with royal blue motif) is available. A fleece jacket is also available in school colours and for inclement weather a school coat is now available for purchase. Order forms can be obtained from the office. Order form with items required should be returned to the school office with payment.

School Clothing Grant.

If you are in receipt of Income Support, Job Seekers Allowance - Income Based, Income Related Employment and Support Allowance, Universal Credit (where take home pay is less than £610 per month), Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999, Housing Benefit, Council Tax Reduction or Child Tax Credit with an income of less than £16,105 (as assessed by HMRC), you may be entitled to receive a grant towards the cost of buying essential clothing to enable children up to the age of 16 to attend school. Grants are paid directly into the applicant’s bank account or paid by cheque where the applicant does not have a bank account. The current value of a Clothing Grant is £100 per child.
